Extended Warrenty for 2002 CLK 55 AMG CAB
 

I have a 2002 CLK 55 AMG CAB that is about to run out of factory warrenty. Im looking for an extended warrenty for it. Its a great car, and Id love to keep it , but I wont drive a mercedes out of warrenty. Do you all have any suggestions or recomendations?

Several months ago I purchased a "bumper to bumper" extended warranty for my 01' E55 with 74k on it. It for additional 5 years or 50k miles. I thought it was a bit expensive at $3600 with $100 dedutible. It's from DailmlerChrysler. Used if for the first time this week. It saved me $700 on a MAS and O2 sensor replacement. Service adviser reported it could not have gone any easier. No paperwork on my end. Just the deductible and off I went. I too would not own a MB without some warranty. Sorry, but you haven't saved anything, yet. It's cost you $2,900 so far.

If you are going to keep this car for a long time (50K, as warranty says) - $3600 is nothing! Unfortunately, these cars do break down and, as I know, the biggest problem is the electrical system, which is very expensive to fix.
And if this is really bumper-to-bumper warranty – it is a pretty good deal!

Can Lisa help anyone out I am in desperate need for the extended warranty on my 02 clk55 as well I think I must have gotten a lemon. Granted I love the car who wouldnt but I am not gonna enjoy paying to take it into the shop every month!
