It's a long story about how I got this car in the first place, but I am not your typical AMG owner and should probably never have bought it.

Anyway, I have had a problem recently where I get a screeching sound when I start my 320E AMG. This morning I was driving and the power steering went. Is this the belt gone? When it happened though, most of the fault lights went on, but the engine seemed to be ok. When I stopped the water from the radiator was bubbling up. I think I have more problems than just the belt on the steering.

Help please.

 

Sometimes the power steering and the water pump belt are one belt. In that case it would be. Also it could be the screech from your water pump. But it sounds like your describing a problem that occurs when a belt is broken. Thats All.
