I just got an 05 C55. I am curious about making more power in the future. Can you take the SC from an E55 and bolt it on a C55? Do you need to use the E55 PCM or can you just have the C55 Tuned for the SC. Just curious for a little extra power that you can feel.

As far as i know you cant...it is the same size motor but it has more valves. I pretty sure the c55 has three valves cylinder where is the e55 has four. sorry KLEEMANN and RENNTECH both make some great stuff. Kleemann is cheaper but the gains are an est. where is the Renntech are dyno proven gains and the founder is one of the original AMG team. Also dealerships tend to respond better to the Renntech when you take your car in for any kind of service. hope that helps

They both have the 5.4 SOHC 24-valve V-8.
