Hello. Newbie to the forum. I couldn't find this one with a quick search. I noticed on my relatively new to me 2004 S55 that the cruise maintains speed at 1 mph (as indicated in the numeric display) less than what I set it to maintain. It works very well (like all other Mercedes I have owned) except for this 1 mph offset. My wife's 06 R350 doesn't do this nor did any number of e-class cars I've owned over the years. My question is has anyone else seen the same thing? It actually works sort of well once you get used to it in that if I want to maintain less than 5 or 10 over the speed limit (not that I would do that) I just set it at the +5 or +10 setting and it keeps me just below that.

 

Mine is the only car that does this or no one cares enough to reply?
