Wondering if anyone here has an idea what my problem maybe?

In the last couple of days I have noticed that when the engine is cold (ie: start first thing in the morning) it seems that the gear changes are being....erratic!

Its most noticable when the speeds are low (20-30mph) around town. Instead of climbing the revs slowly then changing gear, it seems that as soon as I touch the gas, it changes up a gear with a lurch.

When the car warms up, its fine.

Its as if the cold start is become faulty or the software has become corrupt

Any ideas?
