Default 2005 Sl55 Power Issues.. Please Help

Hi guys, Recently ive developed issues with my 05 Sl55. When i first start driving the car has tremendous power at all ranges however if i run her hard on the highway the car loses power when i try to accelerate especially on 3rd and 4th gears on manual mode. the temp gauges are normal and this is really irritating as i have trouble running with cars i normally would smoke if the car loses power. I just had an oil change but no difference.. Please any feedback would be appreciated.. Thanks Sammy[/align]

what is sounds like is your intercooler pump is not working. it is used to pump water through the intercooler circuit of the cooling system. when this part fails, you will have a lack of power during acceleration. when this pump fails for some reason it will not set a check engine light, but there should be a stored code in the ME control unit.
any more questions let me know.
