Default 2001 c32 AMG dependability

I like to get as much info about a car before I go buying one. I will be a first time MB owner and I'm just trying to figure stuff out. I'm very intrested in getting a 1999-2001 CLK 430 (maybe a 320 if priced right) or a 2001 c32... I will end up buying a warrenty no matter what but I would just like an Idea of how these run with higher miles? I'm talking like 100,000 miles. Thanks for any info you can give me.. I'm gonna keep searchin for my answers.

I think you will find a lot of issuesresolved in the later modelC32's. First year vehicles are always troublesome. There are a few things that are notorious failure points on that car. Valeo radiator leaking coolant into the transmission fluid, failed intercooler pumps, bushings going bad, are a few off the top of my head. Make sure the car is still under warranty!

stay away from 2002 c32s! they have long lists of problems and things tend to go out.

How about the 2003 C32? Had all the bugs been worked out by then? I just bought one with 60,000 miles on it.

Thanks for the information. Do the 2003's still have radiator issues where they leak into the automatic transmission?
