Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows where to get a complete wood kit for a 126 chassis Mercedes benz. I tried all the wood kit dealers I could find online and they only had kits for newer S class cars. The dealer wants almost $2,600 for a whole set and refinishing the one in my car ranges from more expensive to almost as much. If a after market kit is not made, does anyone know where I can get the genuine mercedes wood pieces new for less than the dealer charges? Let me know. My email is mark_franzeo@yahoo.com

I did do a search on yahoo and google and I do indeed get alot fo vendors selling wood kits for various Mercedes models. Sadly, the only kits I have found so far for older model Mercedes are for the SL, the 124 chassis and the 190 E. Alot of them sell kits for the newer S class cars and C class cars and accessories for newer models but sadly, none for the 126 chassis. If you can think of a vendor who does carry kits for the older S class Models 1981-1991 let me know. Thanks, Mark
