WIRING HARNESS
I do not know what my engine 104/ 112?
Anyway sleepwalker, I diagnosed my car again via an indie workshop. The HTT/ or computer they used (i forgot the brand name) has indicated that there are "faults in the door circuit" but when wanted to extract the details, it states undefined.
Could it be that there are faulty wirings (or other possbilities) in the doors circuit be related/ connected to the rear view mirror and causing my intermittent starting failures (red & green lights)?

the only cirsuit you got on your doos was the illumination lamp and the door switch.
the door circuit have nothing to do with the starting problem.
the door switch will either trigger the alarm or the interior light cannot function well on "door position.

Sleepwalker,
Is there a possibility to disable/ deactivate the built in alarm & central locking system in my 95 C280?
I would like to install an independant branded alarm & central locking system for my car

it's not easy because of the design functions for engine control unit.
you see, everytime you insert the key on the ignition, the authorization code is replaced using random numbers.... and then is being stored on the engine control unit. it simply means that the key doesn't carry the same password throught it's life. it is changing everytime you use it, and it is being match with the control unit. for example "120000212854". both the key and the control unit should carry the same code.
now, the possibility includes replacing the control unit too! and getting rid of the RCL module.... and most probably the PSE also. it's just too much compare to just having the thing fixed.
