I have a 2002 S55 AMG with 97k on it, the lower half of the drivers side wiper chatters even in heavy rain. Purchased new blades from Mercedes -same problem. Went back to Mercedes, Tech came out said sometimes blades in stock are old and changed blades. But no help. I mean this is a noisy annoying chatter while the blade is "skipping across the windshield" I tried Rain-x with no change. The passenger side also chatters, but nowhere near as bad.

Anyone find a solution to a similar problem??

 

I have had that problem in the past and I have throughly cleaned the windshied with a good automotive glass cleaner.
