I have a broken Wiper assembly on my 1999 C230 Kompressor. The wiper stopped retracting and slammed into the bottom corner of the widnshield and jammed between the rubber windshield gasket and windshield. I have torn it down and removed the assembly per instructions found on this site earlier and I thank you for the help. The wiper moves correctly to the left and right, but the problem is strictly with the extension of the wiper arm in and out. I have posted a short video of the wiper operation (before I removed it) with the clam shell cover removed identifying the movements working and not working.

Is this representative of worn teeth on the cogged wheel or is it slipping on its shaft. If so, can I replace it and how do I do that or do I need to get a new complete wiper mechanism? Any help would be appreciated.
