Window will not go up
 

Yes, I have searched through all the threads about this and I have tried the fixes but it still will not work. Looking for suggestions before I get more in debt on this.
My passenger front window will not go up. It just goes "clunk, clunk, clunk, ....." I took the panel off. Unscrewed the window from the regulator and lubed the track. The window slides up and down freely. I secured the window in the up position and tried it without the window attached. "clunk, clunk, clunk,...." It's jumping off the gear or over the teeth. So I removed the motor and made sure the regulator could freely slide up and down, it does. I lubed everything and replaced the motor still will not push the regulator up. I replaced the regulator and it still jumps the teeth. The teeth on the motor seem to be fine, none missing or rounded. Obviously, I'm missing something.
Any ideas?
It's on a 91 300SD 140.
