hey guys im new to the site and have a lil problem with the wifes 1991 190e 2.3 l it ran great all summer and has slowly bein developing an eradic idle problem sometimes it will idle at 2000 rpm then when we kick it down it drops to 500 rpm and runs really rough as well as when it runs at such a slow idle the alternator will not charge the battery so i changed the alternator (had bad stator) and the iac motor but it is no better and shes gunna kill me this is her baby the car only has 104 000 miles and runs strong when it goes down the road. i should also mention that when driving the throttle seems to hold itself and will maintain any speed you want but the cruise is off any help would be greatly apperciated

 

Not to be a smart a$$ but, the car is going to kill your wife if she continues to drive it. The go pedal sticking is nothing to fool around with. Ask Toyota.
