where is my radio amplifier ???
 

Just purchased a '93 model 190e. The radio won't crank up [&:]. Have enough sound on full volume to know that some function of the radio works and have that sound in 4 speakers. Have replaced the fader switch without improvement :(. Am guessing now that it is the amp. Was told that the amp was an easy find in the trunk.

Can anyone help me with location and/or any other helpful advise on diagnosing the issue or even where to find such an animal if it needs replacement? Thanks a whole bunch :).

How would I know whether it is a 124 or a 201 and what is the difference? The VIN# is WDBDA29D1PG063902.

according to this, it should be on the rear... inside the trunk, right side.

on older model, it is under the rear seat, left side.

124 and 201 got different body.
