whats the difference between the c230 and the w202??????
 

i just bought a 1999 c230 and ive been looking online for parts and things, but all i can find is the w202, it looks almost identical to my car, but i dont want to buy something and find out $1000 later that it doesnt work and i cant return it. if you can tell me the difference between them or just where i can find parts for the c230 i would be happy. thanks for reading this.

C230 is model designation while W202 is the body.

your C230 could be W202 or W203.

what is your VIN? (first 6 digits after WDB)

i dont have the VIN here with me right now, but does that mean i can get parts for either the 202 or the 203, or does it mean i have to find out which one i have and go from there?

find out your VIN first.

if it is really 1999, then you got the W202 body.
