How would I know that thwe water pump is on it s way out.

there isnt much of a squel but a friend said that when he took the fan beltoff there was some movement in the wheel nearest the pump and that it wasnt spinning freely on its own when manually turned although it was moving ok but seemed to stop when i stopped turning it
thanks...doest seem to be overheating

there is a small drain hole underneath the water pump (feel it).

when the bearing started to get loose, the seal will allow the water to drop (maybe to reduce the heat?), and the temp will go up if your water level is not enough.

you mean...ideal temperature? 87 degrees celsius.

but it might vary between 80 to 100.
