water in the headlights

i replaced lots and lots of them.

it used to be some kind of hard styrofoam but now it is modified with the same material but with more sealing properties on it.

well i had a buddy of mine call the dealer, he was told they dont sell
those seals separetly anymore.
i think i am gonna take the lenses out and maybe run
some silicone around it and put it back in.
what do you guys think?

yes. that's a very good way also and it always works.

if possible, put some light silicone also on the back cover. this will prevent humid from going in again.

i just discovered another problem. now i got a air leak noise
on top of the pass. side dashboard. S.O.B
i cant win. lol

yea it sounded like a vac. leak, but now
it stoped.

got the headlights out today, it only took me 20 min.
i sealed the lense and the covers in the back. no way this thing is
ever gona leak again.lol
i am gona wait until tomorrow to put them back in, let the silicone dry first.
that gasket on the lense is not even rubber, its like foam crap that falling apart.

right. like foam.

and foam is not chemical resistant.
