V-Class AC filter lands abs diagnostic computer location
 

Ater parting with £160 for various parts for my 1997 V 230 TD. I was then greeted with the company policy of, "that's what we get paid to do" standard line, when I asked the location of the AC filter and ABS diagnostic computer.

Can someone please help? DESPERATE...

poor guy. it's not visible anyway.

remove the side plastic lining from the driver's seat. you will find it there.

i was thinking about the diagnostic socket. my mistake.

the a/c filter is in the middle lower area of dashboard.

if you got center console, you need to remove it first...if not, remove the rectangular plastic covering. you can pull out the filter (it is in two parts).

the ABS computer of course is attached to the hydraulic unit on front left of the car.
