Upper Guide Rail Pin Removal (Timing Chain)
 

Any suggestions on removing the 2 pins of the upper guide rail? I need to remove the cylinder head to replace the gasket - these pins need to be removed (I think) unless I split the chain.

Haynes says pull them out, but there is no way these are going to be pulled out ...
