Default Tyres and wear

Hello all, hope you can help me, I have a 1998, C250 with low profile 18" Tyres on it. My problem is the rear tyres are wearing on the inside at quite a rapid rate. Could this be a tracking snag, or anything untoward????

In the "old days" long before low profile tires, excessive wear on the inside meant over-inflation. Maybe the Tire Rack site has some info on this.

Over-inflation would wear-out the center of the tire.
I think the C250 is due for alignment job.

Over-inflation would indeed wear-out the center of the tire.

Take it in for a 4-wheel alignment and that should do the trick.

Was it done since the new 18" went on the vehicle ?? I would almost bet that it wasn't.

Make sure you get a 4-WHEEL Alignment, because some alignment shops will only align the front-end unless you tell them.
