I have a 450 sl that unless I turn the steering whell approx 190 degrees or more it will not cancel the turn signals, does anyone out there know if this is normal? I have disassembled it twice and only found1 spot on the shaft that contacts the turn signal switch, Steve

 

79 450sl, left turn signal will not shut off, many mechanics, can't find problem, also she drifts.
