Transmision: reverse only
 

I just bought this car. It shifts into reverse but nothing happens when shifted into the forward gears. I want to repair it myself but I'm not sure where to start. Does anyone have ideas on what might be the problem and where I might be able to buy the parts? Thanks in advance.
