I'm considering cannibalizing my '86 190D's 5 speed and installing it in my '92 300D. I assume that the 190's non-turbo flywheel and bellhousing are a slam dunk and that the pedal assembly will bolt right up. How does one accommodate the center console? I know that the W124 was offered with a 5 speed but finding a proper console isn't happening. Any issues with the rear diff ratio and speedometer? Thanks.
