Stumble
 

75 450 sl. Car was runing fine and on the way home it started to mise and stumble like it was runing low on fuel. Tank was full. Got it home and changed fuel filter at tank. It will run good for a few minuts and then start missing agen. Then clear up and start all over agen. I ordered M.B. Service manual but have not receaved it yeat. It will be on CD. so do not know a thing about this car. Any help will be apreseated.

Harlan, by the way you sense the problem, i can feel that you have good knowledge on cars.

it could be a problem on the fuel system or ignition system.

install a pressure gauge on fuel line and see if it drops when the car starts behaving.... then we can proceed from there.
