Snow Chains or Cables for 2004 c240?

Any suggestions? I ama newbie owner who is planning to head to Tahoe next week. My prior car (328i) had some cables, but I wasn't sure what I should be getting for my mbz.

Also, I have a set of Continental 205 55R 16's on the ride in case that matters.

I don't like cables. If road conditions are so bad that you need to put something on the tires,I will go with chains.
