I have an '03 SLK 320 6-speed manual roadster. I just drove half a mile roundtrip and the car died in the driveway, with a "start error" message in the odometer display. The car has 105,000ish miles and I always use the remote to lock/unlock the car. I use both keys interchangeably. Any ideas on what is wrong with it? I just drove it 35 miles yesterday and it was fine. The battery was replaced about 18 months ago and I live in western Washington, so there really aren't any extreme temperatures. Thanks!
