SL320 Hydraulic Help

Hi
Sorry, I'm new and not sure if this is the right place for this to be?

I have just had a HUGE oil leak which has obviously come from the hydraulic system for the soft top of my car!
Judging by the amount of oil which leaked thru' my rear view mirror!? and the noise the motor is now making ..... and the fact the soft top is not closed/locked on one side at the rear I guess i have lost all - if not most of the oil!
So
Q. Is this something I can fix myself?
Q. Is there another thread I am missing that discusses this?

All suggestions gratefully received!

:)

RE: SL320 Hydraulic Help

Pebbles,

If after you get the old cylinders out, you can either buy new replacements for somewhere between $130 to $150 each for the front pair (replace them both!) or you can have yours rebuilt for $30@ + $10 total for shipping. So in other words, $300 for new, or $70 for rebuilt. Dennis rebuilt my front pair a couple months ago and they work flawlessly.

For the best, and only rebuilder that I know of and have used successfully, contact
