So here is my story and question all in one lol! I have a 190 E 2.3 16 v 1986 cosworth. It was bought in 2005 and last ran in 2009 . My dad got it for a project car for us to work on, but sadly he fell into a dark tunel of addiction and lost all sight of finishing the car.
so here is my question the last thing I recall him saying about it was the timing was off, causing it to die and not fire properly. . now all it does when I attempt to turn it over is back fire a little and hit between 2000 - 2500 RPM's. so the big question is how do I fix the timing chain?? I would really appreciate some help I really want to get it running again. the car means alot to me. Pic's and details on the replacement would be great!
