Default Replacing front sway on 1987 560SEL

What is involved with replacing the front sway on my 1987 560SEL. The end on the left side broke off and it looks like the job is quite involved and I am seeking advice on the steps needed to replace the sway bar. Any help anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated.

I have some info on the '86 420 SEL. I assume the job is similar because the cars are.
you gotta remove the bulkhead center and left section; the brake master cylinder and booster, the ws wiper, the electronic speed control and abs control, battery and battery tray, the heater water control valve (mono valve), the heater hoses, then the bulkhead right section; then the air conditioning hoses. You get the idea: get this stuff outta the way; then you can work the bar out by twisting and manipulation once you have the bushing brackets and attachment points loose.
