powerless fuses

I have no power to the blower motor fuse, and no power to a/c fuse on my 190d. is there a way to get to the bottom of the fuse box without taking the box out. I've been trying to locate a wiring diagram to help without having to buy the repair manual but have come up empty. So I'm looking at either buying the book or tracking wires from the box.
Does anyone recommend a good manual to buy other than the one from the stealership.

there is a blower fuse on the driver side under the hood, its all by itself....near the shock tower against the fender. its got a black cap on it about 1 in by 2 in, there is a metal fuse in there its actually like a flat piece of metal as a fuse. Im not positve but i think the 190s had those fuses there and it is a blower fuse.there is probably other fuses for it too, I dont know those cars to well but I thought Id give my 2 cents. make sure the other fuses are good sometimes they dont look blown but they are.

the fuse im talkin about is in front of that fuse box several inches forward...not inside that box but all by itself. kind of hard to make it out just a small square box by the fender

Although I like the simplicity of taping in a hot wire, I would really like to,if possible, repair
the problem the proper way. there must be a reason the fuse is dead and I need to correct it. Are those relays in front of the fuse box related to my problem??

Regarding Chasis221 thank you, I'll check out that advice next time I get to play around with it, in about two weeks. The actual fuses(blower & A/C) in the fuse box are not getting any power to them, I hoping that fuse you mentioned may be the problem. Thanks to all who responded. I'll be in touch.
