Please help me with this one
Hello everyone, I have a technical question. I am looking to purchase my first Mercedes. The one I found is a used 2005 CLK 320 Cabriolet. The car is beautiful, however, on the carfax, it states that the Valve cover gaskets have been replaced. Is this something that should alarm me? I know VERY little about mechanics of a vehicle. Does the replacement of valve cover gaskets mean that there was a catastophic failure of the engine that may have done damage that will surface down the road, or is this something that just happens, and should not be a red flag? Please help. Thanks, Mark
