Oil Additives

Has anyone had any experience with oil additives. I read some claims that these additives do wonders but are they just snake oil? Z-Max is one in particular I was wondering about.

A waste of money for your car. Just change your oil regularly. Put the Z-Max in your lawn mower.

The only oil you need is Mobile-1 or Castro, all should be 100% synthetic. Change every 5000 to 7000. additives, gee what can Lugnut a smart faller. save your money
