I have an 83 300SD that I installed a two tank WVO system in. The car has run perfectly since I got it. I was driving it a week ago and it started to spit and sputter. It slowly got worse on the 10 mile trip I was on then it finally died. I towed it home and after a number of starting attempts, it finally started but ran really rough. I let it idle for about 1/2 hr and it smoothed out. I could rev it up fine and drove it around our small block a few times. I then took it out on the road but after about a mile it started to sputter the got worse and died again. After a number of attempts to start it, it finally started and it ran bad but I got it home. I have repeated this process a couple of times. I changed all the fuel filters and it seems to do the same on WVO or diesel. Anyone have any ideas?
