Default my MPG is trough the roof, need help!!

Hey guys, just bought a 2008 ML350. Everything is great but the MPG. The tank fills up with 25 gallons and I can only manage to go for 300 - 310 miles with that. I understand it's na SUV and the it really depend how you drive it but still this isn't right. I have a few friends with the same care and they all drive for at least 350-370 miles with one tank. Even the original specification of this car indicates that average distance to be covered should be around 370 miles per tank. I only drive it around the block and a few times a week I drive about 20 miles on the freeway , usually without any trafic. Could anyone tell me if that's normal or if it's not than what could be the issue? I'll much appreciate any help

are you using the recommended tires for the car? it does make a small differnce, also premium fuel is recommended for the car. make sure tires are properly inflated, and make sure you have a clean air filter. how much stuff are you carrying in the car.

Default fuel

I have an M320 w/ 90K, getting almost 400 miles (highway), K&N filter Bridgestone tires, reg oil changes, also only using reg gas

I do have a brand new tires and they are properly inflated. Also the air filters are brand new. I don't carry much stuff around and usually drive by myself and I'm using premium gasoline.
