Mercedes value
 

I often wonder about the "value" of a Mercedes compared to other auto's. Are Mercedes "constructed" to last longer? Are the parts, materials, engineering etc. better, more durable than say Ford GM etc? Or, is the value in performance, style, status etc. In other words. If one properly maintains his Mercedes, will it last longer than a similarly maintained Ford Taurus, Chevy Malabu etc. because it's constructed with better quality parts, materials?
