Hi.
Recently I bought a Mercedes A class W reg 17 diesel automatic.
It rus ok, excpt if I stop somewere uphill on trafic lights, when I start it starts so slowly.
I'm very new with automatic diesel cars,can someone help please.

 

Many things could cause this go into more details like is it starting in 1st gear does the turbo if it has one feal like it's coming on. Do you also have trouble starting the car if it sat for a day with the nose up hill?

The car never fails to start but is very slow in changing from gear 1 to gear 2 and if i happend to drive uphill, it is even slower.
I'm just wondering wheather all automatic cars have the same problem or is it just my car.
