I heared a few concerns about how ASR works on old mercedes cars. I have a C280 (bulit year 1995) it has 110 000 km.

so the question is will I reduce the posibility to have problems with ASR if I just turn it off?

I ask this because the service grade here in Georgia (no not that georgia in USA but a ex-soviet republic in south caucasus) is teribly low and if you have problems with your car it means that you have endeed big problems, finding repair stations, spare parts, quilified personnel and etc.
