Looking for fuse 41 on 99 E320
 

I have 99 E320 and have blown a fuse that controls the emergency flashers, turn signals, rear headrests, and wipers. Looking at the fuse chart it appears to be fuse #41 under the hood. The problem is the fuse box under the hood only has 24 fuses in it. Does anybody know where fuse number 41 is located? Or is there another problem I should be looking for?

check to the rear of your fuse box, they are numbered. there are also more fuses under your rear seat.
TIP.always a good idea to check all your fuses, only takes 2 min.

thanks for the help. You were right. Number 39 through 45 are at the back and the numbers are written with raised black letters on a black background so without looking really close you can't see the numbers. All the other numbers in the box were white on a black background. Since I couldn't see the black on black numbers, I assumed they were spares. With a trouble light I was able to see the numbers and swapped out the #41. It fixed it right up.

My 2000 E320 wagon had the same problem.
To clarify, Fuse 41 is on the rear row of the underhood fuse box.
The previous message helped, but I could not ascertain whether the"back" meant the under seat fuse box.
