Leaking Gas tank - can't pass safety check
 

Hi Everyone

I have a 2010 C300. I live in the Saint Louis area. I was unable to pass my safety check due to a leaky gas tank. My normal repair guy quoted me around 2K for a used tank, installed, but is now having trouble getting the tank. So I went somewhere else, and they quoted me 7 thousand dollars! WTF?

Anyways, does anyone have any suggestions what to do here? Anyone know where I could try to source a used tank myself to bring to a repair guy?

Any other suggestions?
