I THINK I need to check AC/ Heater Fan
 

Hello,

I have a 1991 300 SEL with about 130,000. The air conditioner worked great this summer but this fall I noticed the heater fan is not functioning. When I am going 65 miles-and-hour down the road I can feel heat coming from vents, but when I'm stopped almost nothing comes out. The defrost doesn't blow etc. I tried turning the AC on all the way the other evening and nothing happened, but it was pretty cold out.

I have checked the fuses and they all look good, at least the ones that are obvious to me.

The only other thing I have noticed is that the engine temp. isn't behaving the way it used to. It's not getting to 80 when it should and instead is staying around 40 most of the time. (although it sometimes gets up to the 80 mark)

I assume I need to pull the blower motor to see if it's working.


Any advice on doing that or anything else to get heat would be much appreciated. (I live in MN!)
