Default How to reset "Service Due Now"?

I have a 99 E430. The "Service Due Now" is appearing where my odometer reads. I've done the service, but can't figure out how to reset so the message goes away.

Thanks!

Sometimes the service tech forgets to reset the "service due" button when the service is done. I have an S500 and when that happens I just push the reset "R" button on my dash and it does the job. Can't be sure that your E-class has a reset "R" button, but I'll bet it does. Oh, the display has to be on the milage/odometer/service setting when you push the "R."

Thanks. It's a bit different on my E class. I had someone email me how to do it.

All fixed now.

I have tried 5 different methods posted on this forum, including the method stated in the owners manual and NOTHING works in my 2002 C240.It currently reads "Service B exceeded by 200 miles."

Default Service Message Comes on my 2000 E430

First I would like to know what "Service B" entails? And, then I need to know how to reset the thing after the service has been done. Need your help and guidance on this one.
