how to lower idle 88 260se

I'm a newbie in the MB world. Just got mine a few weeks ago. For some reason itstarted to idle low around 500 and even lower with AC on, so I took it to someone and had them raise it now its to high. My question is can someone explain to me how to adjust this myself and what should it be.

adjust the linkage to throttle.
