Hello, I just bought a 1995 E420 and the hood will not open. It feels like there is tension on the handle, but the hood will not open. Is this a common problem or is it that the cable needs to be replaced. I was able to open it last week with no problem and nothing was forced.

I would appreciate any help or direction you can give.

Have someone pull up on the hood while you release the handle. Might just be kinda jammed.
