High Stall Torque Converters
Is there a company making them for M-Bs?
Next to nitrous oxide, a HSTQ gives huge performance returns per buck spent. It'll turn an ordinary auto trans car into a screaming road rocket. All else being equal, a HSTQ-equipped car can easily out-accelerate a standard trans car from a standing start. A V8 car can smoke the tires from a 40 mph rolling start. Alas, the faster the car goes (in mph) the less effective the HSTQ becomes.
How come I never hear of any? Are M-Bs too good for these?
