Riley, you probably have ABS and power brakes, and logic control.

Have you tried topping the fluid reservoir, and with engine running, parkingbrake ON, car in PARK, blocks under wheels, have someone slowly pump brake pedal while you SLIGHTLY open the bleed valve. Don't open the valve wide OPEN; allow a good amount of back pressure.

RE: help1 bleeding brake on 420 sel

hi, and thanks for the reply... yes i have abs but not sure of logic control? i have the car on a lift, i did start the engine and tried the 2 man bleed and it was no different than with the engine off. i did not have the parking brake on however, and did not fill the fluid to the max. should the parking brake on make a difference? also the lift is the heavy duty one with the wheels on the ramp and i used the pneumatic air slide to raise the front and then the rear. i will try your suggestions and reply back!
ps thanks again for the reply, this is my newly aquired vehicle and i absolutely love this car and have a few more kinks to work out after the brakes and am looking forward to this forum
