Help with ignition on 300cd!!!
 

Hello and as always THANKS SO MUCH for those that help those of us that are technically challenged.

My 300cd is having an issue shutting off at the ignition. I have good vac. pressure going to the mod. and if the car is sitting and idleing it will shut off. If you drive it 1/2 a mile and come back, it won't shut off. It will shut off if you lock the doors after driving. It seems like something is going on with the vac. but my mechanic has been up and down the lines and we can't find anything wrong.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

maybe you should test the engine shutoff vacuum unit, this may be related to a faulty pump.
