Hi,
Is there a sensor or relay contolling the gas light in the cluster? Mine flashes sporadically even with the gas tank being full or no where close to being emptly. I checked the gas cap and made sure it is tight.

 

This usually indicatesa loss of fuel pressure, i.e. fuel leak, gas cap, or vacuum line leak.
