Fuel tank & system flush
 

I have a 1980 450SLC that, as far as I am aware, has not run for a decade or more.
I am thinking that it would be prudent to flush the fuel tank and system but have never done this before so any advice would be gratefully received.
Will this car run on the current unleaded fuel or will I have to have some modifications made?
