I have a 1995 E320 wagon. I know the fuel filler flap locks when you lock the door but I have been having problems where it will not open even after I unlock the door. It seems erratic, sometimes it will open and sometimes not and I am not clear why. There are times when it seems to open when the driver side door is open but this may just be coincidental. Any ideas? Is there a manual overide or something that I'm missing?
