Hi, I'm getting a Mercedes 240D to commute to school in Toronto. I'm a student who doesn't have a lot of disposable income, and found this fantastic car get me around. It's a 4 speed manual, with very little rust, a good interior, and 274000 KM. It has the original German dashboard (Not the US model), with yellow foglamps.

I wanted to know, from previous owners, or anyone who has any experience from these cars, if there is anything special I should know about this model of car, anything I should go easy on, parts that are likely to be replaced, etc. I know she's a reliable car, and easy on gas. But I'd like to know what to expect, so I can be prepared to work on/pay for anything that needs to be done.
